In July 2023, I made my debut in the prestigious WORK STUFF Super S Cup series, held as part of the Racing Car Championship of Poland. The arena of competition was the well-known Tor Poznan, where the best drivers from all over the country have been racing for years.
Although it was my first start in the series, I managed to reach for victory in the second Saturday race.
In the Super S Cup, all competitors race identically prepared MINI Cooper S. These are front-drive cars with turbocharged engines that provide great dynamics and excitement behind the wheel. It was at the helm of such a car that I first competed in this class, aged only 14.
I started from fourth place, but already on the first lap I overtook my rivals and took the lead. I maintained this position until the end of the race, while recording the fastest lap and finishing with a lead of more than five seconds. Importantly - this type of racing is done without a pilot, which means that all responsibility for the result rests with the driver.
During the race, I managed to beat, among others, Jerzy Drabent, the Super S Cup champion at the time. This was an important signal to me that hard work brings results, and it is possible to compete with experienced racers - even in my debut.
I took this victory as the beginning of a new chapter. Motorsport for me is more than just competition - it is a path full of challenges and constant development.
Starting in the Super S Cup has shown me that I am ready for the next stages and higher levels of racing.
