On June 27-29, 2025, I raced at the legendary Nürburgring circuit, where the second round of the Porsche Sports Cup Deutschland 2025 took place. It was an eventful weekend, ending with another success - a third consecutive podium in the Porsche Sprint Challenge GT3 series and maintaining second place in the overall standings.
The races at the Nürburgring are among the most prestigious events in motorsport and attract the attention of the media and auto racing fans from around the world.
The weekend started promisingly - in qualification I won second place, losing only 0.1 seconds to pole position.
In Saturday's race, I fought from start to finish for the win. At the last turn I made an attempt to attack the leader, almost making contact, but in the end I finished second, just 0.3 seconds behind the winner.
"I tried to attack the leader in the last corner. It was really close to winning, but I'm satisfied with second place," Porsche GT3 Cup driver Fabian Dybionka said after the race.
The second race was even tighter. The safety car appeared on the track twice, which resulted in an extremely tight and exciting finish.
In the final meters I fought for my fourth podium in a row, but lost third place by just 0.3 seconds, finishing fourth in a group of five drivers who crossed the finish line just two seconds apart.
"After the last neutralization I dropped from third to fourth position, but the fight in the group was amazing. Thank you to the team, sponsors and fans!"
After two of the six scheduled rounds of the Porsche Sports Cup Deutschland, I still maintain 2nd place in the overall Porsche Sprint Challenge GT3 series.
This is a great motivation for me to continue working and fighting in future races. Starting in the Porsche 911 GT3 Cup (992) allows me to gain invaluable experience and develop as a racing driver in one of the most prestigious GT3 series in Germany.
The next competition will take place on July 12-13 at Austria's Red Bull Ring, which hosted Formula One drivers a few days earlier.
